Emi is walking! No, not on her own yet. But we took her on a walk with us around the block. She loves being mobile (see the celebration at the end).

Mythbusters parents edition:
Myth 1- “You will not remember what you did with your life before having kids.” TRUE!
Myth 2- “Your baby is going to hit growth spurts and will outgrow clothes before she even gets to wear them.” BUSTED! Emi still wears select newborn clothes, 3 month clothes and is just getting into 6 month stuff.
Myth 3- “They grow up in the blink of an eye.” SO TRUE. One year ago plus 7 hours, Yumi asked me, “are you ready to be a daddy?” 364 days and 22 hours ago, ready or not, I became one. Emi has been such a beautiful blessing to us and we thank God so much for answering our prayers with such a sweet and gentle baby. As much as we look forward to what you learn and how you grow, we’re looking forward to enjoying each moment of the next year with you Emi. And thank God for an amazing wife who is a fantastic mother to Emi and a parenting teacher to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMI-GIRL! We love you!
